Anyone have a Alice Stuckey in their tree?
She was alledgely adopted by the East family and emigrated to Australia.
She did come back to England and married Herbert Sealley and had Murial,(Married Albert Nicholls),Harold(married Joan) and Vera(married Frank Brown). She was born in Bristol and settled there on coming back from Australia.
On her birth certificate it states that her fathers name was William Stuckey. I don't know why she was adopted.
She got married with her birth surname,Stuckey.
Thanks
Ps.Have just found out that there is no paperwork to prove she was adopted,so wonder if she was looked after without adoption.
Its very strange because she got married with her birth surname-Stuckey,not East and she did contact the family years ago and they wanted nothing to do with her,so wonder if she was the product of an affair.
