My GGrandmotherss name was Lillian Swan, she married Micheal Jenner from Lowestoft but i think she has connections to Barry in Glamorgan. We can find no information regarding her or where she was from, we know she had an older sister she called Louie and think her mothers name was Honare.
Any information would be gratefully recieved.

Her date of birth is 1892 and we have a marriage certificate but it does not have any info apart from her name and year of birth and that she was from Barry Glamorgan, it does not tell us who her parents were and that is what we are trying to find out, we cannot find her on the 1901 census, or any birth cert etc.

Please can you tell us when & where she married? Also on her marriage cert it should give Dad's name & occupation & it may give her age.
There were Swan's in Barry in 1901, I just looked it up, they lived next door to where some of my relations used to live. Spooky!

Im not sure of the date my mums got the wedding cert so will have to ask her , she was married in Lowestoft, my GGrandfather was in the navy and used to dock at Barry. The wedding cert does not have any other info as i think it was a methodist church and is not like the usual certificate - we could proberbly get one from the registry office.
I have not managed to find any Swans in Barry yet - where did you look that up - and thanks for the info.
