G'day Ann - I've tried accessing on line data for the National Archives but haven't had any success in finding anything and haven't found anything that specifically relates to my Hugh Falvey. If I ever get to England a vist to the National Archives would be a must. Thanks. Cheers Tony

His records, if they survive, will be at National Archives, Kew. You can also trace his career, as he was an officer in the Army List. I know they have a set at Kew, but not sure where else you would be able to look at them.

I trying to find information on my ancestor Hugh Falvey who I believe served with the 75th Highland Regiment of Foot between the late 1790s to around the early 1810s. I have a listing for him in the 75th for the year 1799 as a lieutenant, but thats all I can find. I known to attained the rank of Captain. Can anyone direct me to a site where I can gain more information relating to military records for the 75th between 1780 and 1820?
