If you are visiting Sedburgh, could you call in at the Library and see if there is a Funeral Notice for a George New ( b.1884) who died Jul-Sept. 1961. I think he was a doctor who lived with his sister in or near to Sedburgh. The notice will be in the Westmoreland Gazette Micofilms ( hopefully they exist). |
