my grandfather was ALBERT HENRY LAND (known as harry)born about 1877 in cencus he stated born devon,found him married to JANES DAWKINS (m later 1897 at west ham,essex)in 1881 census in plistow,essex,1901 he was bootmaker southend on sea with wife jane and sons albert 2 and sydney 7 months,i know there more children maybe up to 7 after this,not able to find them until my father walter john land born 1907 reg birth yeovil,albert stated he was born bower hinton on my fathers birth certificate,i know he had brothers bert,syd,frank,donald,and sister nell,they all lived in around martock,bower hinton areas of somerset when i was a young lad,i was born martock 1935,can anyone help me find my land family,regards mike

have looked to 1928 no joy.

before 1911 mothers maidenname was not listed so if it was before then i will be hard for me to say. try www.freebmd.org and search on the individual names

i will look 28-35 for you

sadly none between 28 and 36 so i expect they were born prior to 1911

thanks so much for your help carole,this is wonderful,mmm and yes i do remember,haveing an aunt violet now think she was living in taunton when we vistited her,so this helps my memories as well,as my tree.
im just hopeing some of them have family out there somewhere,as i was an only child myself love to find some family ,maybe a cousin ect .
