Thanks Soph, all I know about him is possible date of birth and who he married. I've just sent for copy of his marriage cert. There are several Staien families all originating from Warks but I can't find a connection to him.

Did you contact the other person with the name in her tree?

What connection do you wish to make? If the birth above is the person in your tree, you can follow his line through census records.....

If he isn't in your tree.........what is your interest?

Soph..........

That birth fits with the 'search trees' results.........

Reg, yes I have sent a message to the other person with the name in her tree.
Following the information I have he does not appear in any of the census records, seem to have hit a brick wall. Hoping marriage cert helps.

When you receive the marriage cert, you will learn the name and occuaption of his father, which ought to help with census searches.
