I heard about that, the government giving the remaining girls a medal its good to hear but I think they need to comemorate those that have died too.

Sarah try the Ministry of Agriculture,Fisheries and Food.Records Review Section.
Lion House,Willowburn Trading Estate,Alnwick,Norhtumbeland NE66 2PF.
I was able to get my mothers registration card from them some years ago.

just recently there was talk of the remaining living Land army girls being given a medal.
I suggest a bit if googling might put you in touch with the right gov. department

Does anyone know if thiers anywere I can get Womans Land Army records from apart from Kew?

I'm trying to find my Auntie Ethal Ellis's service history.
