There are others on the page with same surname and seem to have occupations similer to his. I will look for him in other census years

no I cant find Louisa or Annie in 1881 but Annie co9mes up in 1891 as living alone .No Louisa to be found. annies father on her wedding certificate says he was a builder

Hi Janice
it was just along shot as in my tree i have Louisa Doming who had a baby in 1871 called Annie but on the 1871 census there is no mention of a father or on her birth certificate. But when Annie married on her marriage certificate it says father spencer doming deceased. so I am trying spencer doming / dominy but c0me up with nothing. So I dont know if louisa was married or Doming was her maiden name and spencer Doming was just made up to make it look good on marriage certificate. But without Louisas maiden name I cant go back any further in my family tree

the other gentleman who married same page was a wellington gallant.

in 1891 he is living with a mary ann gallant, therefore i guess that John spencer married Eliza Costerton.

tried looking up John on the 1881 census and guess you found the same as me no wife! so I looked up Wellington Gallant and found his wife to be Mary Ann........that leaves John and Eliza Costerton.

could anyone help me please I am trying to find a John Spencer Dominy born 1847 in Poole dorset I think he married in 1871 but cant find out who he married. This information would be most appreciated
