William/Walter and Edward Hills

Edward and William (or Walter) were sons of William Francis Hills and Angiolina Magri. Edward born Cairo 1911 emigrated to Australia in the 1950s. He died in 1994 in Killarney Vale, Sydney Australia. His wife believed to be Turkish, Adviriye, died in 1986 in Caringbah, Sydney Australia. Their grandfather, my Gt. Grandfather, Edward Hills was born in Thoydon Garnon Essex in 1847. He was in the Army Service Corps and died in Cyprus on Feb 1st 1890. Does anyone know of any descendants of either Edward or William in Australia. Edward (b 1911) is reputed to have been a Captain in the British Army in Cairo. I am not sure which, (Edward or William) had about 5 children and the other had none. |
