In those days, families followed the work, but it was usually within 1 days walking distance, ie;- tottington ,unsworth, rochdale , eagley, turton, bury, bolton,pilkington, etc.

On the 1851 Census George Ramsbottom's place of birth is given as Rochdale. Benjamin born 1846 is Unsworth which is in the Bury Registartion District. The family obviously moved about quite a bit.

You could search on FreeBMD for a birth of one of the younger children and send for a birth cert which would give you Alice's maiden name.

As for Beesley, Seddon etc have you any idea of where they were born? There are a few Agnes Beesleys on Ancestry but without a birth place imposible to say which is the right one.

I'm happy to search but need more information

I am trying to find the parents of George Ramsbottom c1806 who married Alice ??c1804. George was born in Henley Hall (nursing home ?) in Bury. They lived at131, Blackford Bridge, Sunny Side, Tottington, Bolton, Lancs. also;- parents of his wife Alice. Also;- parents of Agness Beesley c1830. also;- parents of John Seddon c1863. also;- parents of Beatrice Kay c1885. am also trying to trace Ernest Ramsbottom c1913 ? supposedly the brother of Beatrice c1909, Ashworth 30/09/1919 and George c1920.
Any help with the above would be most gratefully recieved; James A. Ramsbottom
