Herbert Kilby Born 1910 Leicester, (Parents were: Annie Kilby & Herbert Frank Kilby).

Can anyone please trace Herberts marriage & or death for me please - I am not having much sucess.

All known family so far are from Leicester.

Firstly, do you know for certain that he married?

If so, were there any children?

If so, when was the eldest born?

The name is not sufficiently unusual to be able to hit on an entry and know that it is correct.........

As the info will only be on the full records, it will entail searching every image, qtr by qtr.........

Have been away, so only just picked up your reply.

Unfortunately, it was a 'long shot' as I really know very little about Herbert.
His parents married in 1909 and his father died in 1914. I know that he had 3 brothers.

Not sure how to go about finding what happened to him.
(if anyone has any ideas)?

His death is not on the transcribed records 1984-2005

You have the right person. I guess, if he didnt die during that time, he either married or dare I say was deported / emigrated?
I cant find anything.

I know that Herbert had brothers:

Leonard born 1911 died 1993.

George born 1913 I know he went into the army, but know nothing else about him and am trying to find out more.

Robert born 1917 - I know nothing about him either ( Herbert Senior died in 1914 so dont know who Roberts dad was - but I do know that in 1922 Annie had a child (Irene) by Walter Mann and later married him in 1927. - so its possible Walter was also Roberts father.

All were born in Leicester.
Parents Annie Fowkes & Herbert Frank Kilby.

He would have been the right age to have served in WW2 - have you looked for his military records?

I havent looked for Military records for Herbert, not sure where to start really.
