Details for a disabled brother I never met

Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 27 Send Message	Joseph Doorey b1958 d1974 West Ham London. Never met my brother. He lived in a home all his life. How do I find out what medical condition he had and where he lived. My family have all died no one to ask. Hope someone can help. Thanks Janet

	Janet Do you have a copy of his birth & death cert? I had a look for birth and death in years you mentioned but couldnt find the record. His death cert will provide the detail of where he lived and who registered the death. Nicki

	Janet Have looked 1957-1959 and cannot find his birth with the spelling DOOREY - are you sure this is the correct spelling? Nicki

	how do you know the year he died?? Is it possible that he didn't in fact die then? sylvia

	Janet You can now order his birth certificate from the info Portland Rose supplied. I could not find his death registered for 1974 though, where did you get this death year from? Nicki

	Janet Found it!! He died 1980 Joseph Doorey (- DOB 12 APR 1960) Apr-Jun 1980 Thurrock 9 2883 Hope you get the info you want from the cert. At least this gives you his exact date of birth. Nicki

	If you send off for his birth and death certificates perhaps you will get some answers. If he was in a home at time of his death you may be able to get their records. Let us know how you get on. Good luck. Nicki
