Sylvia and Rose, thank you very much! The interesting thing is that my Jones family intermarried into the Williams and Roberts Family on several other occasions!

To get verification you need to have the birth certificate to get the parents names.

Then you need the marriage certificate to see the age, where he was lviing, and the name of his father, as well as the name of the bride.

Then you need the death certificate to see his age, where he was living, and who was the informant.

The place to find the registraions is on www.freebmd.org.uk, which you ahve udoubtedly already found.

Each certificate will cost £7 from www.gro.gov.uk. You need the GRO reference number, which is the set of 2 numbers that follows the place name on the registration that you have found on freebmd.

Having looked on there, there are of course a number of Griffith John Jones all born, marrying and dying at the relevant periods, but you may have a better idea thna I do of which ones might be more relevant.

Anglesey is the registration district that includes Llanbedrig.

Hope this gives you some ideas

Otherwise, you could wait for the 1911 census to come out in early 2012, when you would be able to see who he married.

My Great Uncle
Griffith J Jones was born in 1890 at Llanbadrig Anglesey
Although in the 1901 Lancashire Census it shows the family incorrectly as all being born in Amlwch. They were there for a few years and then retired back to Amlwch Anglesey.
I am trying to see if there is any verification of the following facts
Griffith J Jones b Llanbadrig 1890
Griffith John Jones married 1910 Anglesey
Griffith John Jones died 1912 Anglesey
Also if they are the same person who did he marry?
I appreciate any assistance or advice. It is difficult for me to go to Llangefni as I live in San Antonio Texas.
