Sarah Jane Lambert (1848)

Hi, please help. I'm trying to locate my gt gt grandmother. I know that she married George Jackson in 1874 in Fleet, Lincolnshire. their marriage certificate lists her as Sarah Jane Lambord and her father as Robert Lambord, Labourer. Other family members have her as Sarah J Lambert born in Deeping St James, Lincs. However this Sarah was born 2 years later and is actually Sarah Ann Lambert, although her father is Robert. We think that her surname may be Lambert as on my gt grandfather's birth certificate her maiden name is Lambert.

We also think that her mother's maiden name was Grimer as this name also pops up.

According to the census returns of 1881, 1891 and 1901 she was born in Holbeach, Lincs and calls herself either Jane or Sarah Jane. I can only find one other Lambert born around this time - a Jane Lambert working as a servant in Holbeach in 1871. There is no other record, previous to this one.

Can anyone shed any further light on this mystery? There must be someone out there who is a relative of hers also.
