I have the rural Surrey marriage index but the marriage isn't listed.

do you know if the parish records are on line?

Where was their first child born and what was the name? Have you checked the parish records for that area for a marriage?

Hi there -

I have hit another brick wall.... I ahve a Sarah married to James Woodford (born c 1776 in surrey). Their first child was born in 1797 - but I am having problems findign the marriage records and Sarah's maiden name.

Any ideas on what to do next or help to find would be appriciated.
