It could be that she had been married previously.I would get the marriage certificate. I find that VIC marriage certificates can have great information.

Thank you so much Kerri, that is a huge help! I am puzzled by Hannah Thompson though, particuarly as the fathers name Thomas Montague is correct. It would seem Louisa's mother was known as Hannah, Anna, Ann and Louisa, I wonder if her name was actually Hannah Louisa?? Thanks again.

Can someone find for me the children of Thomas Montague FRANKLIN and Ann LAWFORD. I know they had atleast one daughter Louisa Mary Franklin born 1858 in VIC died in South Australia in 1895 (married Henry O'Callaghan) but think there must have been more children and am not sure when and where Henry and Ann died.
