Can anyone please help?
Mary Tate born St Mary's Nottingham c1811
Has anyone access to these parish records that could give me a baptism and parents name?
the family relocated to the North East of England at some stage between Mary's birth and her marriage to Samuel Cooper in Newcastle in 1833.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Carol,
I`ve made a note of your request & will look up when I go into Nottingham Library. Should be this month unless someone finds it before!

Thanks Budgie, I think the first lead is plausible as Samuel and Mary had a son called Christopher, I believe Mary's parents would probably have been married prior to coming to northumberland--but then again could they have been from Newcastle and been living in notts at the time of Mary's birth!! It' a great start thanks.
I would apreciate you looking as well Neil, thanks so much

Hello Carol,
Didn`t think I`d get any more info for you but:

14 Nov 1809 Mary dau of Christopher Tate & Mary. Barracks.

Barracks is the residence so presume you have a soldier in the family which would possibly explain the different locations.

Good Hunting,

Neil
