has anybody got access to these medal rolls please ? i have a military relative who is shown on his death cert as "late of the 77th regiment of foot" the timings indicate he should have been seving within the 1850's and without going to Kew i am not sure how to proceed getting more info on him. his name was Elijah Ward, born in the cosford union workhouse (in Suffolk) circa 1825 and he died in dedham essex in 1881. |
