hi everybody i'm having trouble finding my great x 2 grandmother maiden name her married name was mary ann goldspink she was born in 1857 in hempell norfolk she married my great x 2 grandfather in norfolk about 1879/80 his name was john goldspink and was born in norfolk 1851 please can anybody help me find out what mary ann goldspink maiden name was ?? xx

I wonder if they didn't actually marry until much much later?????

soph thank you i didnt know about that alice goldspink her name wasnt on the 1901 census i found but i add her to my tree

the john goldspink who married the mary pye in 1904 i think was john and mary goldspink's son

it might be better to get John William's birth certificate first, especially if it turns out the first census information that soph found is wrong

sylvia dont know about the first one the john goldspink i got in my tree the eldest 1 was born in 1851 and youngest was born in 1881 the john goldspink who married in 1904 that u found could mean either off the 2 johns i got

my great grandfather was called john william goldspink his perants were called john and mary goldspink <<<<< its her maiden name i cant find anywhere

If the ages are correct, then this looks like a second wife between John and Dmmy - how old was Arthur???

[Edited: OK, having seen the handwriting of the enumerator, I can understand! Arthur is 5, so there is just a five year gap between John and Arthur. Not sure whether this means a child died young in the gap. ]
