Find Ancestors

I have looked for these people in the 1891 census and can't find them for ref: here they are in the 1881 census but by the 1891 census the mother Sophia had died and the youngest one was a girl called Martha born about 1887

Thank you for looking Barbara I don't think that is them as I know thomas remarried later to an Emma Poole as I have them on the 1901 census when Martha was 14

I really don't know Barbara I know he married Emma Poole in 1893 if he married again before that I don't know will look at the one you found in 1891 Looked at the image and the occupation is the same as it was in the 1881 census and the 1901 cennsus so must be the same person it is funny they lived in the same street in Edmonton as they did in Islington. mind you it is his third wife I am interested in as she was my great/grandmother and it really is the person she was married to before who was my great/grandfather.

I wonder if he was a bigamist although I have the marriage certificate for Thomas Williams and Emma Poole.

Hello Sylvia thank you so much for the information I did look on free bmd and could not find the mattiage but it looks so though you have found the right one I had seen her death that is why I thought her name was Sophia Elizabeth.
