Has anyone ever heard of the ship the custodian?My gt grandfather gave his eldest daughter this middle name after the ship that brought him back from the boar war.I've googled it but come up with nothing.

You helped me yesterday with John Baldwin found loads of info thanks ,but now can i be really cheeky and ask for you help again ?
I am looking for info on my grandfather George William Ashford from london his parents were Henry & Harriet , i am sure i remember seeing a photo of him in a navy uinform but thats all i know i know its a long shot but if you could help that would be great
