On the Lancs census I have an address that isn't clear.
Thomas Howarth b. 1851 and wife Ellen with family, Wigan, Lancs, 1881. Address says 23? Little London. I've checked other family who lived on this street and Thomas isn't at number 23. Can anyone confirm his address for me please.
Or a possible check for him on the 1891.
Thank you so much for any help.
Cheers Margaret.

It does look like 23 Little London.

In 1891 Ellen is a widow. She's living at 6 Little London, Wigan with children.

23 Little London is uninhabited in 1891.

Thanks ever so much Margaret and Mike, i'll check the Wigan cemetery index now for Thomas's burial, that will give me his address on death, hopefully.
That definitely is Ellen in 1891, and to be at number 6 is great. My grandad was born at number 4. Thomas and Ellen were his Aunt and Uncle.
Cheers Margaret.
