any help would be great
elizabeth elsworth married in 1880 in sturminster to a john douch
they had a daughter annie douch b1880 hastings sussex
on annies marriage cert in 1916 horsham it lists her father as having died. annie married henry light b1875 horsham. i am assuming john and elizabeth must have been born about 1860 but cant locate birth records. i need these to find exact year of birth and area to do census records. found the marriage record after alot of surching.

thanks so much for this. i am going to see if i can locate the birth record with this now. i assumed he was born in about 1860 and so got so many birth records i have been driven mad so i will try 1841 to 1843 now instead thanks so much. i never thought to try finding them in census records first.

Just deleted my post as I had misread the dates and looked for the wrong ages.

There were 2 Elizabeth Ann Elsworths born in Sturminster c1861 +/- a year.

think she may have been born in margate as the census record lists her as a charwomen born in margate so i am going to try this
