Thanks ***alviegal***
I have the original censuses, John was a bootcloser in 1861
He wasn't there (with the McKellars) in 1851, nor in 1871.
Would like to know what happened to him.
Thanks again

Hi,
I am seeking any info on John Long, a bootcloser, born Manchester. He was step brother to Duncan McKellar in 1861, living at 89 Taylors Court in Manchester.
I can't make out whether he was 11 or 16.
By 1871 he had moved on.
Thankyou
