You could apply for the cert as detailed by Gwyn....and state the father's name to be Edward. |

Thanks for everyone that has helped...........it would be good if i could get hold of his birth cert but have no chance of getting that either from family or from official records as I can't be 100% sure this is the right person.......i would hate to inherite the wrong grand dad :o) |

i got the information of grandads death cert...also have a copy of his wedding cert that says his dads name is also edward jewkes. |

Hi Can anyone help me I am looking for an Edward Jewkes born brownhills staffordshire in Jan 1905. How is the best way to go about this as i don't know his parents name so can't look it up on the 1901 census. |
