Hi to all who takes the time to read this, I am trying to search for information on a Thomas Whyatt, he was the father of my mother whom she never knew, she was born 1941 yorkshire. my grandmother was from Wigan Margaret Houghton b 1921 and she found herself pregnant I am assuming he was around the same age. now the story goes that Thomas died either in France during the war or on his way to France. So they never married, Thomas's parents wanted to bring up Margarets baby but she would not let them and moved to Yorkshire to live with her brother and his family. I know its like a needle in a haystack but has anyone had any past family gossip which would bring a light to the matter. thank's for your interest Regards Wendy |

If he died during the war, his name would be on the cwg site, but it isn't. Commonwealth war graves commission |
