Hi all my relative in oz has just sent me the following info and we are still stuck any help again would be appreciated regards max x

Hi Maxine,

Had begun to worry if everything was o.k....but find your'e back on the
trail......this genealogy stuff is definately an addiction!!

No, James Richard born in Shoreditch 1860 is not "our" James(it was I
think, the first birth cert. I sent for).
To date I have:
1858.. Henry James.. St Luke......1b 605
1859.. James Benjamin.Islington....1b 275
" James Hackney......1b 322
" Hackney......1b 344
" Henry Shoreditch...1c 144
" James Robert Islington....1b 372
" islington....2c 279
1860 James Richard Shoreditch...1c 212
" James Hackney......1b 319
" St Luke......1b 585
" Islington....1b 168
" Islington....1b 301
1861 islington....1b 197
" James William Hackney......1b 370

Apart from the fact that Taylor is a name that is akin to looking for
needles in haystacks----there is something ODD about James and his
early entries in the census. In 1861 there is a 2 year old Henry but no
James-- in the 1871 census there is no Henry but there is a 12 year old
James!!!

I'll be waiting to hear if anything has turned up.

Love Babs x
