Do you have any childrens birth's especially after end 1911 as mothers maiden is on the index.
Have not been able to find her name at all

Has anyone found a Sarah Rebecca Stannett . The only thing I know is that she was an unmarried Charwoman living at 77 Bridport Road, Edmonton, London N9 in 1908 when my Grandmother Dorothy May Stannett, was born. Sarah also had three sons, George, Walter and Fred. ( I know that George stannett emigrated to Canada at the age of 16 which would be about 1922.) Sarah later married and her surname became Cooper. I believe she had children in this marraige, her previous four children went to a childrens home when she married. the marraige would have been around 1914. Sorry its so vague but i am trying to unravel a family mystery. My grandmother Dorothy stannett born 1908 had no knowledge of her father other than he was said to have died singing on stage. Now have access to my grandmothers birth certificate, now even more confused as although my grandmother had one older brother George stannett, and two younger ones Walter and Frederick Stannett on my grandmothers birth certificate it states "Father unknown" so it looks like Sarah's children had her surname. I know that George stannett emigrated to Canada at the age of 16 which would be about 1922. I believe that all the stannett children were born in Edmonton so Mr. cooper may be from the Edmonton/north london area.
