Hi

I am looking for info on my paternal grandfather Caborn. I think his first name was Cyril but know his nickname was Splitpin.

I know he was born c1927 and died around early 1970's in a train crash. He was driver. I think he was from Nottingham. Married Brenda.

Unfortunately this is all i know.

Frederick Cyril Caborn birthday 28th August 1926 died in Nottingham vol 3c page 1487, 1st 1972.
parents marriage
George H Caborn married Jane F Naylor in Nottingham vol 7b page 827, 4th qtr 1912.
possible siblings
Edna M Caborn mmn Naylor in Grimsby vol 7a page 1170, 2nd 1913.
John E Caborn mmn Naylor in Nottingham vol 7b page 676, 2nd qtr 1916.
Doris M Caborn mmn Naylor in Nottingham vol 7b page 713, 1st qtr 1921.

his marriage
Cyril F Caborn married Brenda D H Hardy in Nottingham vol 3c page 882, 3rd qtr 1946.

here is his brothers death
John Edward Caborn birthday 20th March 1916 died in Nottingham in 1985 registered in Oct vol no 8, page no 572, reg no 1085.
give me a shout if I can help anymore.
