I don't know i was assuming that John was mary's Son before Marriage and Backhouse was her maiden name but maybe she could have been married before? |

Was Mary married before? On the 51 census she's got a 24 year old son named John Backhouse. Was he the 15 yr. old John Dickinson on the 41 census? |

Please could somebody kindly do me a 1841 census look up for Francis Dickinson born 1833 High Grange Cartmel, Lancashire, he died 1865 at Flookburgh Lancashire and was married to Jane Bland in 1862...so it was a short marriage...but i'm curious about his parents and siblings and if they are related to John T Dickinson's of Cark in Cartmel who was a miller and owned Cark Corn Mill |
