I know that Elizabeth Kilby (Head in 1901) , was nee Orton & that her mum was Ann Orton (nee Steele) - so it seemed too much of a coincidence that there was no relationship between George Steele & Elizabeth Kilby -

However, thank you for letting me know that he is listed as a boarder. (I can now look into any possible Kent connection, just in case).

Can someone please look at the 1891 & 1881 census, I am looking for George Steele ( I have him in 1901) - I know he was born & lived in Leicester ( possibly Barkby)

In 1901 He is ith Ethel L Steele aged 1 & Harold Steele aged 8 - who I presume are his children (?)
