il try and explain

william jones married a annie breward in 1924 leicester and im told that william changed his name from dodge to jones why i dont know william was born ireland so im told

Sarah, someone on Rootsweb has the family of Daniel & Margaret Dodge (Actually he married 2 Margarets). The son William evidently stayed in Canada, marrying and dying in Edwardsburg.

1911 census. Again it says that Daniel was born Ontario, Margaret born Ireland and emigrated in 1860. No sign of William. In England?

how can i be sure that the william dodge 1879 is the father of william b abt 1902 unless the william 1879 married a annie breward in 1924 leicester

sorry if it sounds confusing but the dodge family is a big mystery

Sarah, I notice , on the 1881 census, it says that Daniel was born in Ontario but wife and children born Ireland.
