Still trying to find Helen Standerson. Can anyone help. I am trying to find my mother nee Helen Sanderson. I know she was born Greenpoint Hospital, Broolklyn, NY C1934. Went to live in Greenock, Scotland when she was about 2. Returned to live in San Diego C1960. I believe she went back with a "Bobby Johnson" in the US Navy. Later to be associated with a Donald Adamson in same area National City I think. May also be known as Colleen Johnson.

I know my grandmothers and grandfathers names. She also had a sister Margaret born in Greenpoint a couple of years earlier. She had two children Kathleen and Brian.

Does anyone know if I can get a SS number for her with her being born there and would she keep it when she went back even with a different name? Would this help? Any assistance would be appreciated cos wherever I have gone on line, seems to be getting me nowhere.
