Find Ancestors

Could someone please help me by looking up John Rodham b. 1804 in the 1851 & 1861 census? He should be living with his wife Alice and children in Tanfield Parish Co. Durham.

If possible could I ask if I can be sent a copy of these two census images. They can be sent to [email protected]

Can you tell me where they were living at (address) in these census? Was it Shield Row?

Yes they were living at no 67 Shield Row in 1861. 1851 was at 38 Pit Hill.

Hello Margaret,
yes I do and I am. Me and "our" Hillary have 5x gr. grandparents in common John Roddam & Dorothy Bell. She descends from their son Jonathan and I from his younger brother Joseph.
These other Rodhams (John 1804) are connected somehow as well though as yet I haven´t found out how though I suspect I am closing in and Shield Row is very important I think.
