Wellington Plane c1788 of Wood Norton, Norfolk has long been a thorn in my side. All I know about him is that his parents were Robert Plane c1746 and Phoebe (or Phebe) Brown c1740, they married 10/11/1766 at Wood Dalling, Norfolk. Wellington married Jane c1781, who died 11/04/1863 at Guestwick, and they had at least two children: William Plane c1821-1902 born North Creake and Jane Plane c1824 born Wood Dalling.

The above comes from mostly from freereg and Norfolk Baptism Project. You would think that with a name like Wellington Plane he would be easy to find - but no.
