Lost Grandfather

I am trying to find my Grandfather Ernest Sopp who lived at The Nags Head Russell Street Reading and later in Franklin Road Reading. His wife Edith Helen Lewis died in c1918 and he was lost contact with. He was also a jockey.

Ellen, wife, age 47 yrs. b. Gt. Bedwyn, Wilts.
Charles H. son, age 18 yrs. b. Reading, Berks
Ernest A., son age 15 yrs. b. Reading, Berks
Alexander, son age 12 yrs.

all living 5 Russell St. Reading, Reading. Parish of St.Mary.

1901 census Ernest Sopp, age 25 yrs. b. Hungerford, Club Steward
Florence Sopp, wife age 24 yrs. b. Peterborough, Northants, Club Stewardess.

living Riverside Club, Pangbourne, Berks,

Interestingly, buildings in street were Congregational Church,
Riverside Club
Fire Engine House
Solicitors Office. all next to each other.
