I am looking for any information (as we have nothing on him) on Alfred Benjamin Cooper (my mothers grandfather), who married Charlotte Amelia Peers (nee Massey) after 1888 (they had three daughters, including my mothers mother who was born in 1908 in Liverpool, and there were two other daughters.

I know that Charlotte Amelia married John Kneen Peers in 1888 West Derby(dec i think), when she was 19 and he 21, but have no information about whether John died or they divorced, as it was after this that she and Alfred are mentioned on my late nans birth certificate (i assume that Charlotte and Alfred married) but cannot seem to find any details in records of this. It is likely to be the Derby/Liverpool/Macclesfied area.

If you find anything in searching please let me know.

You need to find the marriage between Alfred and Charlotte.....it should be on freebmd..........and purchase the cert to find out how old Alfred was, plus his father's details.

You may then be able to find him on 1881 census...........free to all..........and on earlier censuses.

Can't see any evidence of a marriage between Alfred and Charlotte........nor of a death for John Peers.
