Hi Nicki, yes i have facebooked the one on there but no reply, he only has 2 friends so i guessing he isn't a regular user.

I too found the Road to Goa last night!! how spooky! shame u can't see the pic very clearly! Have mailed the website contact on there too!

There is a Chris Kausman on Facebook ............!!!

Google 'Chris Kausman' and something comes up about the 'road to goa - photos' and there is a photo of Chris Kausman in the 60s/70s!!!

The annoying thing is, there is a guy registered with a tree on here and he has the two other Kausmans on his tree, plus their father Woolfe, and he has listed his birthplace as Poland.. so maybe if these people are MY people then we originate from Polish Jews!

Have mailed him 3 times now, but he hasn't replied! Its annoying because he may have all the answers ive been looking for!!

Will just have to wait for their birth certs to arrive so cross reference the birth dates!

Just been reading this amazing detective story - can't wait for the next episode.........

It would make sense if they changed their christian names to something less German, it was very close to the 1914/18 war - after all the Royals did it, so why shouldn't others. I see one of them has Abraham, which is more Jewish than German, and even more cause for him to change his name at that time, and later. The English weren't always that nice to Jews either - think of Shakespear and Dickens.

Adopted to different 'families' looking for her for over 40 years. Both my Christian names were changed so probably hers were too.

i was wondering if these are the same people with name changes.

so basically i wondered if anyone could find any info on M Abraham/Hyman Harry...as i can't fnd any deaths/marriages for them...which would also support my theory that they are the same people.

I have ordered their birth certs to check out their exact d.o.b's to see if they match.(I have death certs for my two)

I read somewhere that the GRO were not releasing the BMD after 2006 to internet sites, as they intend to get it transcribed themselves or something to do with data protection. The only way you can find out anything after 2006 you have to go to the local office and find out from them.
I am sure it was on one of the threads I saw this and then maybe saw it confirmed somewhere else.

Not sure if you already have this info? Perhaps someone can pm you with the details that applied at that stage. At least that would give you an area to concentrate on?

so if he died after 2006 would it show yet?

I don't really know how the death process works with regards to adminstration!

With there being no recent electoral roll data on him, does that mean he just hasn't registered to vote? I thought that everyone had to register yearly by law?

I cant find one and can't seem to find him on any electoral roll either..does this mean he is no longer living?

Am off to visit my Grandmothers best friend that i located thanks to u guys on Sunday, so hope she will know a bit more about Harry Kausman too!

If this Christopher is alive, he will be my Dads cousin and only living relative! So hope i can find him!
