Yes the unnamed child in the 1871 census is Reuben living with his parents William & Sarah.

I have David Malpass on all Census records apart from 1871.
So thanks so far for all your efforts, much appreciated but I hope to locate him on the 1871 Census only now.

David will be about 13 years old in 1871
