In 1901 there was a Underwood family living next door to John and Sarah..... Mary Underwood was born in the same area as John, so maybe his sister??

You really need to buy the marriage certificate that LiverBird1 found.........this will confirm the fathers names and their occupations, the witnesses maybe family too. This is a possible for 1901;

I am so stuck. My Grandad(Harry Cooper born 1912) his Dad was John Cooper, his Mum was Sarah(dont know her maiden name) from Stoke-on-Trent.John born 1879.Thats as far back as I can go. Anyone any information please. Thanks
