I'm looking for Jean Spence in the 1881 census born in Scotland in 1878 to Adam Spence and Mary Murdoch. Can anyone find them in Scotland in 1881. Sorry I don't know the area, but could be near Lanarkshire.

Belinda...Have checked the 1841 census and there are no Spence families listed for Muirkirk there are quite a number living in and around the Kilmarnock Region...only one "Adam" Spence aged 15yrs. son of Samuel Spence.Coalminer.
