Can anyone help me please, I have been trying to find a place called Pear Tree House and the address in 1891 was Heworth East Central Gateshead, I would love to find out where it is or was as my husband and i spend quite a bit time travelling around the areas where our ancestors lived. |

thank you everyone for your help im sorry i didnt get back to anyone i broke my ankle yesterday ooooch i will have a look( my great great grandfather William Parker marrried to Mary Cairns served the Holyhill m wesleyan church for 67 years he's buried in plott 880 of gateshead east cem but the records office have no record of the burial my husband and i went for a search last sunday but the cems too big got this info from the church archivest Richard Jennings )regards carole |

Many thanks Anne for the pointer in the direction of the enumoraters description think that we may be able to work out where it was now as some of the road names and areas still exist and it now looks like we were being blind sided by the pear tree pub many thanks again. |
