I think there are a few crossed wires here.

Is Stanley part of your family or is it Clement you are related to ?

You say that he is noted as deceased on his daughter's marriage cert. What other info does the cert. give you.

Her address at the time of marriage?
Her age and occupation?
Her father's name and occupation?
Were any of the witnesses siblings?
These could all give clues to make sure you are following the correct family.

Just realised the Stanley Moreton featured on 1911 as a nurse child is NOT Stanley W Moreton with mother's maiden name Woodward.
