Doh! :-(

One should always read through the threads properly ;-)

I think Margaret's post is just a belated "thank you" to helpers.

She met the adoptive parents in 2011, and presumably they told her then about Ian's life.
She's not asking for further help.

I did spot the typo. It would be a miracle if it’s levif it wasn’t ;-)

If Margaret can remember the adoptive parents names she may be able to follow them through the electoral rolls as well. Only his adoptive family can actually tell Margaret about his life.

Margaret says she met the adoptive parents, if my reading of her post is accurate, despite the typo of the year

Surely Mike as well as Flick, were just offering help. Can’t see why this was marked as answered.

Margaret, welcome back to Genes.
If Ian Cox was his birth name you won’t be able to find him. If this was his new name then you may be able to track his life before he died via the electoral rolls, as long as he was of age to vote.
If it was his new name then you could get his death certificate.

Mike is still a member, but Flick isn’t, so only one of them has any chance of seeing your message, unfortunately.
