I'm looking for information of my fathers (William Standen) parents. I know his mother was called Phoebe and she had 2 daughters and 2 sons one being my father the other was Goerge.

That looks to be the one Maureen

It states that Mother Phoebe is "Unmarried"

I can't find an appropriate Marriage for an Edwin Standen to a Phoebe.

On the baptism of Cecilia Alice it states that Edwin was a bricklayer and they lived at 12 Ifield Road, E Kensington.

Cecilia's birthdate was 26 March 1906.

Edwin is at 12 Ifield Road on 1907 ER. Same address has also William Craddock.

Thanks for all your help so far but there is more I need help with.

Both my mother Jean Morgan (nee) and father are both dead and lost touch with most of my family on both Standen and Morgan side. Anyone with information on the Morgan side would be welcomed, think my mother was one of about 10 and my grandmothers name was Nelly Morgan, I think.


Anyway when I was younger I told by my Dad's brother (George's) wife that my Dad had previously been married and had a daughter. Never been able to trace whether true or not. Can you help.

My father was married to my mother Jean Morgan in 1952, where I don't know but my mother lived in Bedfordshire.
