The Mary - John Dufton marriage is not one of mine. I have their marr cert.

The Ann Ellwood of Rooky is another Ann Ewood née Waistell, husband John.

I was hoping the widow Ann Ellwood née Simpson and maybe her daughters were still at Gale Houses. This is the address of William Ellwood when he died 1841.

Could someone see who is living at:

Gale Houses, Bongate, Appleby, Westmorland.

I am hoping it is an Ellwood family. My direct ancestor William Ellwood died just before the census was taken in 1841. I don't know if his wife Ann Ellwood (née Simpson) b c1770 was still alive. There could be daughters Margaret b1809 Bongate, Elizabeth b1815 Bongate & Mary b1813 Bongate too.
