I think I'm waiting for a miracle.

Thousands of Russians migrated to Australia from Harbin China after WWII - and yet I can't find a single record of this migration.

I'm also subscribing to the Ancestry website. No joy there either.

With help from people here, last year I found a lot of my relatives in Russia.

In the 1960's arrived in Sydney Australia from China with his daughter Tanya. Had been living in Harbin after escaping from Russia.

I have his NSW Electoral details from 1980.

His first wife died in China. His second wife was Lidia Prestavko (nee Moiseeva) - sister of Ekaterina Ivanoff m. to Anatoly Ivanoff ... later married Vasili Emelianovich Orlenko - son of Mr Orlenko and wife Marina.

Philip's first wife (name?) had a sister in Russia called Lidia Assunchic - children Mikhail, and daughter Tanya Sirtseva.

Philip Timothy (Timofei) Besumoff's father and grandfather were called Timofei (Timothy) Besumoff. His grandfather owned a brewery in the Russian city of Perm.

Thanks for any help!
