Find Ancestors

Am looking for James Grigson / Gregson born c1825 in Camden Town / St. Pancras area of London.

Just cannot find him in 1881.
He married Jane Willington in 1852 at St. Leonard, Shoreditch.

I have them on 1861 & 71, but in 1891 & 1901 James is a widower.

Can anybody please help me here??

I think they are related somehow. I am slowly untangling this wonderful complexity !!

The marriage entry (On Ancestry) states James was 27, Jane as 29. Definitely 27 & 29 NOT 37 or 39. .

Now, either she IS 29 years of age at her wedding, OR she is lying and is actually 39, which ties in with above post by ErikaH !!
