hi all. i am looking for tips and help on reseaching a farm in essex -Lofts Farm, Heybridge. I would love to hear from anyone who may have any information on it or any tips on how best to research a property and find out who lived there etc.

Lofts Farm isn't listed as such in 1861 or 1871 censuses.
Nearby houses are there, but impossible to tell which, of any, of the nearby unnamed ones might be Lofts Farm.

Lots listed in the newspapers about various people that lived/ died at the farm. Also advertising potatoes for sale.

thank you for everyones replies. I have got the census records already and have done a serach on the SEAX website i just wondered if there was anywhere else i could look for more information. It is not family related to me but i am researching the property for a friend who is looking into the farm.
