Payment by card not possible. And the application form can't be filled in online - it has to be printed off, filled in, and posted.

"You can pay by cheque or postal order - or by banker’s draft or international money order if you’re overseas."

This is the link for obtaining UK service records post 1922
http://www.veterans-uk.info/service_records/service_records.html

Each set of records would cost £30. The link would tell you if you needed to send a GBP cheque or if there is the facility to pay by card (not sure if there is)

Many Thanks.. yes, starting to build up a reasonable amount of military records for his siblings, Father etc from Pension records, including a surprize.. a St Helier, Jersey, connection that may relate to an earlier phase of his Grand parents family..
Many Thanks for those details you advised.

Looking for some advices re UK Service person Records.. In Oz, for those that have been digitized, we have free online access to complete service records, from the Australian National archives, based on a simple name or service number search.
Does a similar facility exist in the UK.. I seem to only find Pay searches
My current research is on a distant cousin, Corporal Donald D Huish, Service No. 5669044 Royal Armoured Corps, 10th Armd Division, remembered at the Fayid War Cemetery, Al Isma'iliyah, Egypt
Appreciate any advices
